OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME
Capture your opponent's king or put your own on the starting space of the enemy king.
HOW TO PLAY
Each player controls five pieces: four soldiers (circles) and one king (hexagonal). You play as black.
During your turn, you move one of your pieces. Move onto a space occupied by an opponent piece to capture it. You cannot move onto a space occupied by one of your own pieces.
There are five movement programs: harpoon, dagger, shuriken, jackhammer and onion. Each turn, two of those are available to you; two other ones to your opponent. After a player has used a program to move, it is switched out for the fifth program that sits by the side of the board.
Each program offers a distinct movement pattern. The dark square on a program represents a piece's current space. Other squares represent all spaces you can reach from there.
To move a piece, enter [piece] [program] [space]
. For instance, to move piece 3 to B2 with the shuriken program, enter 3 shuriken B2
.
